Advanced Training: PracticeWorks
Advanced Training Seminar: PracticeWorks
Thursday, October 15, 2009
1:00pm - 4:30pm
presented by Brian Smith
PracticeWorks has capabilities that most users aren't even aware of, and certainly aren't taking advantage of. The most powerful of these is the Automation Expert, which can be used to create entire new systems in the program. Brian Smith, the original creator / designer of PracticeWorks, will show you what the Automation Expert can do, and teach you how to put it to work in your office. There's a big difference between "computerization" and "automation" - at the end of this workshop, you'll know how to use PracticeWorks to AUTOMATE your practice!
"As an added benefit, Brian has agreed to stick around for an unlimited Q&A period at the end of the workshop, and will be available for the rest of the Conference to answer questions."
SPEAKER: Brian Smith
The “father of PracticeWorks,” Brian hired Joel Kozikowski in 1993 to help write a new Windows program for dentistry, and PracticeWorks was the result. The two of them have been responsible for the design of every significant feature that exists in the program. PracticeWorks was the sole focus of Brian's professional life from 1993 to 2006, and it remains an important part of what he does with Lighthouse today, so it’s not an exaggeration to say that he knows more about PracticeWorks than anyone in the world.
An experienced public speaker, he has given seminars on topics from the general (“Computers in Dentistry” in 1990) to the very specific (“PracticeScript”), trained large groups of PracticeWorks trainers and salespeople as well as professional dental consultants, and presented at the first three PracticeWorks Users Meetings.. His presentations are fast paced, energetic, informative and (he thinks) entertaining.
