Description
Well established, rapidly growing dental practice in the Rio Grande Valley is looking for a full-time Practice Manager. Applicants should possess the skills required below. Responsibilities/accountabilities:

Responsible for the overall operational health of the practice.

Provide personnel management, to include direct supervision of all administrative, clinical and professional staff.

Explores opportunities to reduce costs, streamline processes, monitor performance to benchmarks, negotiate optimized purchasing arrangements and ensure effective inventory management.

Works in partnership with Management Company to ensure vision and goals of the practice are carried out through policy implementation and management of an effective administrative/clinical team.

Participate in management meetings and provide detailed status reports of operations.

Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests to appropriate management team members.

Oversight of HR and staff evaluations.

Develops strategies for patient services that are consistent with the practice’s mission and values.

Additionally is responsible for the management of the practice’s patient family regarding any concerns and questions that might arise.

Participates in associate doctor recruitment and partner development as needed.

Heavy schedule management for practice providers, through supervision of practice personnel.

Supervising and delegating tasks to departmental staff.
-
Plan, direct, or coordinate supportive services of the company such as mail distribution, answering telephones as necessary.

Managing all office related activities-including ordering, stocking and receiving office/reception supplies and orders, stationary and business cards as well as additional items as needed.

Maintains office through walk through on a regular basis to ensure cleanliness. Further manages work order requests for repairs, upgrades, and general office related requests.

Experience
Background:
Related experience with a minimum of 2-5 years of dental practice management.
Skills
Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, Dentrix experience is a plus.

Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Strong dependability & self starter

Results focused team player with great written/ oral communication and leadership skills

Must be fluently Bi-lingual (Spanish)

Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

Strong ability to lead team members through accountability and follow up skills

Competency in HIPAA and OSHA regulations and labor law
-
Job tasks will require flexible hours in addition to normal business hours
