Fellowship Requirements

To become a Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), the following requirements must be met to be be considered for Fellowship status:
 
Induction
  • 3 years minimum - Dental Office Manager Experience. This requirement will be waived for any applicants with a CDPMA designation.
  • Letter of recommendation from current or former employer (dental practice)
  • Member in Good Standing of AADOM
  • Passing Level of the DANB Accounts Receivable Module - see video below
  • Attendance at at least ONE AADOM Annual Conference within the past 3 years
  • 15 AADOM Approved CE hours
  • Completion of Fellowship Application Form
 
Upon approval of Fellowship Status, you will be given the Designation of FAADOM, Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Managers.

Recertification
 
Every Fellow will need to be approved for re-certification every two years from the time of approval.  A total of 24 CE credits will need to be submitted for re-certification.
Two DANB Assessment Based Certificate Programs will also need to be completed and passed within this two year period.
