A: Endodontics

A: Office Manager
Q: How long have you been with this practice?
A: 7 years
Q: What are some of the duties you are responsible for within your practice?
A: I handle everything related to the administrative side of the practice with a heavy focus on the marketing
Q: What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
A: Seeing patients completely change their view of root canal treatment and tell us that it was their best dental experience ever. Having one patient call us the “RitzCarlton” of dentistry.
Q: What do you see as some of the benefits of membership to AADOM?
A: Definitely the annual Conference, the Virtual Study Club and the lifelong friendships I’ve made.
Q: What other services would you like to see AADOM provide for dental office managers?
A: A little more help setting up the nonprofit Chapter papers. It is a little intimidating.
Q: Have you ever attended an AADOM conference?
A: Yes
Q: Can you tell us about your experience?
A: My first was incredible and after years in dental management I came back with a whole new appreciation and love for my profession. I remember saying to myself over and over, “where have you been my whole career?”. At each conference I build on friendships, learn more and more and continue to be amazed to see all the new things to us that help us in our positions. I’ve enjoyed bringing peers to the conference for the first time and love seeing how it transforms them too.
Q: Are you a Fellow or are you pursuing Fellowship?
A: Yes I was inducted in 2012

A: TDO
Q: What company do you order the majority of your dental supplies from?
A: Schein and Patterson
Q: Do you or your practice support any charitable organizations?
A: Yes, we support Manos de Cristo an organization that empowers low-income individuals with a loving hand of assistance. Manos de Cristo promotes dignity and self-reliance by meeting basic needs with food and clothing, providing essential oral care, and furthering educational development.
Q: What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work?
A: I grew up in Tokyo so I love to attend Japanese events, eat and cook Japanese foods and spend time with my friends. Also love spoiling my two very special grandchildren.
