A: 3 years
Q: What are some of the duties you are responsible for within your practice?
A: In our practice I oversee all of the operations. I strive to provide the best leadership and guidance to support my doctor and team.
Q: What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
A: The most rewarding part of my career is continuing to learn and share with those who want to know more and be more. I find dentistry to be so exciting with the continuous advancements and technology, and the learning is endless! I love to share my experience and help anyone that is interested in learning. I have had some great mentors in my career that helped make me who I am today, I believe in paying it forward by mentoring those who seek it.
Q: What do you see as some of the benefits of membership to AADOM?
A: The Member Forum is invaluable! You have experts at your fingertips 24/7…We are no longer alone!
The continuing education that is available at an affordable fee is such a great resource and allows practice administrators to make the investment in ourselves, we are worth it! The best added bonus…Local Chapters. AADOM at the national level has provided a platform for local areas to form “study clubs”, local chapters, that provide opportunities for continued education right in our own back yard! If you don’t continue to invest in yourself, you will fall behind very quickly in dentistry.
Q: What other services would you like to see AADOM provide for dental office managers?
A: I’d like to see resources available specifically for new office planning and set up.
Q: Have you ever attended an AADOM conference?
A: Yes
Q: Can you tell us about your experience?
A: My experience is always amazing! Even after 30 years in dentistry I always have some very special take away’s from the courses. Something that I feel can be undervalued is the network of peers you form when you attend. I will never miss a conference if I can help it!
Q: Are you planning to attend AADOM18?
A: Yes, and I’m so looking forward to it!

A: Yes I became a fellow in 2017

A: Yes, work closely with the American Legion.
Q: What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work?
A: I love spending time with my amazing family, traveling, and reading.
