You Don’t Have to Navigate Dental Management Alone
There’s something powerful about hearing another dental office manager say, “You don’t have to do this alone.”
In a profession that can often feel overwhelming, isolating, and nonstop, that reminder matters.
In this member interview, Brooke shared how finding a community of support completely changed her experience in dental management—not just professionally, but personally too.
“You don’t have to just clock in, clock out. There’s a community. There’s support. There’s growth personally and professionally that you can gain from this.”
For many office managers, the challenges of the role can feel heavy. Whether it’s handling team dynamics, patient concerns, scheduling chaos, insurance questions, or simply trying to keep everything running smoothly, it’s easy to feel like you have to figure it all out on your own.
But Brooke says one of the biggest things she’s gained through AADOM is connection.
“Even when I have a question of something that I think is so silly, I’ve got a list of four or five AADOM members I know if I shoot them a text really quick, they’re gonna give me a call and say, ‘Hey, this is what you need to do. This is how I can help.’”
That kind of support can make all the difference.
Having trusted peers who understand the day-to-day realities of dental management creates confidence, encouragement, and reassurance during even the hardest days. It’s a reminder that office managers everywhere are navigating many of the same challenges—and that there’s always someone willing to help.
Brooke also shared something many dental professionals need to hear:
“You can love your job again. You can love dental again. It’s okay to have a hard day, but you’ve got support, and AADOM’s the place.”
That sense of renewed passion is exactly what community can provide. Through networking, education, mentorship, and shared experiences, AADOM members continue to lift one another up and grow together.
Brooke is also celebrating exciting growth within her practice, including adding a new dentist to the team and expanding patient care opportunities. And like so many members, she’s looking forward to reconnecting with the AADOM community again at Conference.

Brooke Wallisch is the Office Manager at Krider Dental Wellness Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she blends her passion for dentistry with a strong commitment to leadership development and sustainable business practices. She began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant, and her hands-on clinical experience continues to shape her empathetic and effective management style.
Brooke earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, along with certifications in Human Relations and Digital Marketing. These accomplishments have equipped her to lead high-performing teams, implement innovative strategies, and cultivate a culture of continuous growth within the practice.
A proud member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), Brooke will receive her Fellowship (FAADOM) at the 2026 national conference, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey. Her dedication to ongoing development is rooted in a strong belief in servant leadership and a passion for mentoring others.
