Q: What type of practice do you work in?
A: General Dentistry
Q: What is your title?
A: Office Manager, Treatment Coordinator
Q: How long have you been with this practice?
A: 4 years
Q: What are some of the duties you are responsible for within your practice?
A: I love being a dental office manager! I work closely with my entire team and strive to be the leader they need and deserve. We have a team of 15 including two dentists.
Q: What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
A: All of it! I love every aspect of my career. I want to be there for my team to love an support them daily.
Q: What do you see as some of the benefits of membership to AADOM?
A: I’ve been a member of AADOM for several years. It has helped me grow tremendously as an office manager! I could not imagine doing this without the support and resources AADOM offers. Being a member has been life changing for me!
Q: What advice would you give to a new office manager just starting out?
A: Don’t give up! Every day will not be perfect and that is OK. You got this!
Q: Do you or your practice support any charitable organizations or events?
A: My dentist, Dr. Joshua Millsaps has supported my local study club. This group meets at no charge for members. It has been wonderful to have his support. He also goes to the Dominican a few times a year to offer dental care for under-served areas.
Q: What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work?
A: I love spending time with my husband, son, and family. I’m currently working towards my BS in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources.
I love to help and support my local dental community. I have a study club to offer support for my local dental teams and offer assistance to help dental team members and dentists find career opportunities. I offer these services and meetings at no charge to help my community.
