Melissa Cortes started her career as a medical assistant, but in 2011, after moving to Maryland, she discovered her passion for dentistry and has since cultivated a career in the field. She loves the dynamic environment and the opportunity to meet and help new people every day.
After joining AADOM in 2021, Melissa thrived on the challenge of managing a team and brings a wealth of experience to her team. With a natural gift for organization and an ability to perform under pressure, she successfully navigates the busy demands of the office.
Outside the office, Melissa cherishes time with her husband, Jose, of almost 20 years, and their three children Jeweliana, Julius, and JoLycia. When not managing the dental office's day-to-day operations, you can find her tending to her 22’ x 22’ garden, crafting, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee while admiring her flower beds.
