Contra Costa CA Represents at Local Doctor Study Club

On September 16th, Contra Costa California Chapter President, Elaina Wharton, FAADOM and our Chapter Relations Director, Paula Kopf, FAADOM were invited to attend and speak at the Partnership Study Club, Walnut Creek’s annual kick-off dinner. The PSC is a group of 50 dentists in our local area dedicated to advance implant dentistry and patient care. This unique group is a mixture of general dentists and specialists who strive for excellence in their practice.

Our Chapter felt this was the perfect opportunity to share what AADOM and the local chapter has to offer. If excellence is what they strive for then the Contra Costa Chapter might be just what they are looking for! We put together a power point presentation, discussed the benefits of AADOM, shared information regarding our local chapter and were even able to share our experiences at the AADOM Conference in Orlando.

We explained to the group to look around at all of the members in their tribe and now think who does your office manager or lead in your practice have as a community support system? This was a powerful message and hit home for a lot of doctors.

In addition, to presenting to the group, we were able to honor two doctors in the group who have played a vital part in our Chapter’s success with their donations, hosting the venue and helping our Chapter with anything they might need.

Lastly, we shared that we will be hosting a Chapter Booth at their upcoming doctors and team event. This would allow their team to stop by, chat with us, ask questions, sign up for more information and even sign up that day to receive a special promo. Overall, this meeting was a success and we are so thankful and honored to have attended.
