The Contra Costa, CA Chapter to become The Contra Costa Dental Connection

On April 27, 2023, the Contra Costa CA AADOM Chapter held its bi-monthly board meeting. This was a very important meeting for our local tribe as our Chapter President made the announcement on the birth of AADOM’s Dental Professional Learning Network. This was very exciting for our board as we saw this as an opportunity to grow with the changes. We see the value and the benefits this would add to our Dental Community. Our local tribe consists of not only office managers, but leaders in our dental practices and all administrative professional roles. We felt this was going to create clarity and open the door to helping even more people in our profession. Collectively our board decided to transition to a DPLN and unanimously agreed on our new name which will be launched soon as the Contra Costa Dental Connection!! With this exciting change, we also gained a new board member, Ms. Leah Mendoza as our new Sponsorship Coordinator. Leah is a Patient Care Coordinator and a lead certified Surgical Assistant in her Oral Surgery practice. Leah’s knowledge and skill set are just what our local chapter needs with the new exciting changes to come!
