The Northeast FL Chapter Learns the Taxin Dental Practice Audit Method

On 8/11/22 the Northeast FL AADOM Chapter had the pleasure of having Christine Taxin as our guest speaker. The topic of the meeting was “How to Audit Your Dental Practice”.
She spoke about the importance of doing in office audits on patient charts to make sure the correct codes are billed according to the documentation. She shared examples of accounts that the chart notes and the billed codes did not match and why the insurance companies were denying the claims. She explained the importance of training your team and for everyone on the team to use thorough and uniform notes
Christine also spoke about running reports and be specific with ledger adjustments.
