Upcoming CE Webinar – Work Smarter, Not Harder: Is Your Practice Management Software an Asset or a Liability?

Please note, this session is being broadcast as a Zoom Webinar. Register here to join us on 7/22/26 at 1:00 pm Eastern

This webinar is for both AADOM Members and Non-Members!

Approved for 1 CEU for AADOM members. AADOM is an AGD PACE Approved Provider (can be used towards AADOM Designations)

Your practice management software should be one of your greatest operational assets, but is it? In this session, we’ll help you cut through the frustration and take an honest look at whether your current system is working for your team or against it. Through a guided self-assessment, you’ll evaluate your scheduling workflows, revenue cycle processes, and reporting capabilities to determine whether the right move is to optimize, retrain, or explore something new. Walk away with a clear, actionable picture of where your practice stands and what to do next.

Most practices aren’t failing because of their people. They’re failing because they’ve outgrown their tools and haven’t stopped long enough to notice.

Course Learning Objectives:

By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify operational inefficiencies in scheduling, patient communication, insurance processing, collections, and reporting that may be attributable to underutilization or limitations of their practice management software.
  • Distinguish between three common root causes of PMS-related inefficiency — inadequate training, misconfiguration, and software limitations — and determine which applies to their own practice.
  • Recognize the warning signs that a practice management system is actively hindering growth, team productivity, or financial performance.
  • Apply a structured self-assessment framework to score their current system across key performance areas including revenue cycle automation, integration capabilities, and team adoption.
  • Evaluate the risks and requirements of a system transition, including the questions every practice should ask before switching platforms.
  • Develop a preliminary action plan — whether that means optimizing their current system, investing in targeted training, or beginning a responsible exploration of alternative solutions.
