- Distinguish between three common root causes of PMS-related inefficiency — inadequate training, misconfiguration, and software limitations — and determine which applies to their own practice.
- Recognize the warning signs that a practice management system is actively hindering growth, team productivity, or financial performance.
- Apply a structured self-assessment framework to score their current system across key performance areas including revenue cycle automation, integration capabilities, and team adoption.
- Evaluate the risks and requirements of a system transition, including the questions every practice should ask before switching platforms.
- Develop a preliminary action plan — whether that means optimizing their current system, investing in targeted training, or beginning a responsible exploration of alternative solutions.
