The Baltimore/Annapolis, MD Chapter Learns Strategies for Less Stress

Submitted by Lora Graetzer, FAADOM, Baltimore, Annapolis, MD Chapter Vice President

The Baltimore/Annapolis, MD (BAM) AADOM Chapter virtually hosted Kay Hickey from Zirc to learn strategies to stay productive and reduce our stress when working short-staffed, a problem that’s been on the rise in recent years.

Kay reviewed the importance of the morning huddle, cross training, re-evaluating scheduling time blocks, organizing by color, and reminded us how to celebrate and encourage each other with positive words and gestures! In this time of dental staffing shortages nationwide, it’s important to stay organized, stay positive, adjust accordingly, and reevaluate when necessary.

Kay is a celebrated figure in the dental industry with over 30 years of experience. She’s currently a clinical efficiency consultant at Zirc Dental Products, she is also a member of the Speaker Consulting Network, AADOM Speaker Consultant Alliance and eAssist Consultant Network.

Thank you Kay for taking time during this busy holiday season to give us tools for the upcoming year to be more productive and less stressed!
