Sleep, (or lack of), can affect how well we think, react, work, learn and get along with others. I have found the Let’s Meditate app, (found in Google Play and the App Store), to be very helpful and I want to share it with all of you.

I am a newbie when it comes to meditation. It’s something I thought I would never do. I didn’t know what to do or where to start. The Let’s Meditate app is free and easy to use; there are no ads, nothing to sign up for. Just choose a track and hit play.

There are a variety of topics to choose from including anxiety, body scan, healing, sleep and many more. The time ranges from 2 minutes to 42 minutes. I have never made to the end of the 42-minute one, I usually drift off to sleep after 5-10 minutes.

Not sure where to start? Been there. I suggest trying the 2 minute Breathe and Relax mediation, one of my favorites. I use it at night before sleep, but you can take a 2-minute break anytime. Another good one to try is the 10-minute Beginner’s Guide meditation.
